Stop living the lie…
conquer the fear…
express yourself!
The world is full of emotionally repressed, socially intimidated and just plain shy people. For fear of ridicule, derision or outcast, most make an unconcious daily decision to live a comfortable lie rather than express what they know to be true in their hearts and minds. Imagine a day when people can openly and publicly proclaim their thoughts and opinions, without apprehension, without judgment…no matter how unpopular, depraved or insane those ideas may seem to others. The time has come to stop living the lie. The time has come for you to conquer the fear and express yourself!
In a society intent on judging others based upon outward appearances alone, what better way to wake up your fellow human beings than by personal expression through your own appearance. The theory of primacy states that you will make a lasting impression upon others within the first 8 seconds. For strangers passing on the street, will this result in love at first sight? Perhaps. A new and fabulous opportunity? Sure, maybe. In any case though, this impression will be based solely upon your appearance…not what you say, not how you say it, but solely upon others visual perception of you.
While this may seem superficial, just think of how many people you encounter, but never even speak with, on a daily basis. Through your appearance alone you have the ability to deliver a powerful message and impact your fellow human beings each day. Given society’s predisposition to the importance of first impressions, as well as the abundant likelyhood that most people will immediately form judgments based upon those impressions, it follows that in this day and age there is no single greater method of effectively delivering a message to every single person you may encounter than by your own personal appearance.
If you want to get your message out, you must conquer your fears and proudly exhibit your message publicly, loudly, and with firm conviction for the entire world to behold…only then will anyone possibly hear it.
